Does the insurance apply to the trip if I need care, am chronically or seriously ill even before I start the trip?
Travel insurance does not cover treatment, travel treatment or repatriation expenses that you have had or sought treatment for during the last 6 months before your departure. Travel insurance is only valid in the event of illnesses and accidents that are sudden and unforeseen during the trip.
