In order for compensation to be granted, you must have shown normal care and supervision of your property. Otherwise, the compensation may be reduced or not paid. Forgetfulness means that the duty of care is not met.  

When it comes to Travel Insurance Plus and the catch up trip/connection protection element, you must plan the trip so that you are out as early as possible. You must be at the airport no later than two hours before departure within the Nordic region and no later than three hours within Europe and the rest of the world, unless otherwise agreed with the carrier or tour operator. For connecting trips, you must have at least three hours' margin for changing means of transport, unless otherwise agreed with the carrier or tour operator. You also need to take into account the prevailing weather and traffic conditions.
