Blocking cards and chargebacks

If you have lost your card, you must block the card immediately. If unauthorised purchases and withdrawals have been registered, you must also file a chargeback. Remember to attach a copy of your police report to the complaint.

Stolen or lost card

If you lose your card, you must report this to Nordea Finance as soon as possible. You can block the card around the clock.

Other situations where you also need to block the card

You must also block the card if it can be suspected that someone unauthorized has become aware of your personal code or that the card/card number is being used unauthorisedly.

If the card is stored on a mobile device and the device is lost, stolen, or if it can be suspected in some other way that someone unauthorized has gained access to it, the card must also be blocked.
